Here we will list the questions we are asked the most, and answer them for you.....
How do I find out if you have my picture? Go to our online map browser page and check if your municipality or area is listed.
The pictures you have online are very small. How do I see a bigger version so I can decide if I want to buy one? The pictures we put online are very small to make the pages as fast as possible to load. The original files are around 14MB each. If you'd like to see the detail contained in the original picture(s) of your yard please contact us at 204-745-2479 or complete our online form on this page and we'll arrange a convenient time to give you a no obligation presentation.
I would prefer something that was taken an angle that is a little closer to the yard, is this possible? We use a very high resolution camera so the original images are over 60 inches across. If you'd prefer to crop out the background and focus in on your yard this is no problem, and the final result will not show any reduction in quality.
I'm away for the winter but I am interested in seeing a larger version of my picture(s) and possibly purchasing one. No problem, just let us know which picture(s) you are interested in seeing and we'll email you some larger, watermarked samples. If you decide you'd like to purchase one we can do all of the proofing and payment steps by telephone and email and have your picture waiting for you upon your return.
Do you have old farmyard pictures? No, we only have pictures from 2008 onwards. If you are looking for older pictures these are owned by Yourview, who can be contacted at (204) 745-2861. There is something I don't want in my picture, can you Photoshop it out? We can remove unwanted items and touch-up unsightly areas. If this requires a lot of work on our part we will charge an additional fee. Contact us for more details.
The sky isn't straight! Don't worry if the picture is a little crooked, all orders are straightened and colour balanced prior to printing.
How long does it take to receive my order? It usually takes around 4 weeks for us to get your completed order back to our office ready for collection or delivery.
Do you offer gift certificates? Yes, we do. Contact us for more details.
If I make an appointment for you to photograph my yard will you tell me when you are coming? We'll do our best to give you notice, but we can't guarantee we'll be able to. Factors such as weather and air traffic control mean we often have to reschedule or divert our planned flights.
Can I scan and print additional copies of my plaque or prints I buy from you? No. We retain the copyright to all printed materials. If you require reprints please contact us to arrange this. Alternatively, you may purchase the digital files from us, and use these to produce your own prints.
Why don't you offer framed pictures any longer? It is extremely difficult to stock a range of frames in all sizes and styles that will satisfy every customer, therefore we decided to offer mounted, laminated prints that are ready to be framed. We feel that the plaqued portraits we offer are better suited to display in any location, and represent a more modern and attractive alternative to framed portraits.
